Janet Tart, EA 

Janet was born in Clinton, NC and has lived there all her life. She started preparing income taxes while in high school for students with part time jobs. Soon thereafter she married Clark, her high school sweetheart, and started her family. While raising her young family she gained education in accounting and taxation. She worked part time as a bookkeeper and tax preparer for several years before opening her tax practice in 1993.

Janet has been an IRS enrolled agent since 1999 and specializes in personal and small business tax preparation. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her large family (husband, four children, three sons in-law, and four grandchildren). Janet is also a certified fitness instructor who teaches water aerobics and indoor cycling classes when not preparing taxes or attending tax schools and forums.

We have been serving the tax needs of Sampson County for over twenty years. Many of our clients have been with us since we began and they feel like part of our family to us. With Janet Tart experience and expertise is on your side. We have successfully prepared over 25,000 tax returns in our Clinton, NC office.
